Meet Our Executive Team
THE QUEEN QIVES
CHARITABLE GIVING PROGRAM
Shortly after graduating from college in the early 80's, Jim took a position as VP of Sales & Marketing at SMS Mfg. Corp., spending the next ten years building the US video poker industry. While with SMS, Jim worked alongside interested parties to help design and develop the video lottery industry in South Dakota.
In 1995, Jim became GM of AMA Distributors in Louisiana, a regional distributor of coin-operated amusement and gaming equipment.
During his career, Jim served on both the LAMOA and AMOA boards of directors, serving a term as president of each.
In 2017, after having been out of the industry for ten years, Jim accepted a position as General Manager of QVS. Two years later, after helping QVS solidify its leadership position within Virginia, Jim decided to focus his attention on QVS's charitable giving program, 'The Queen Gives'.
"In less time than anyone thought possible, QVS helped reverse coin-op's sagging fortunes within the Commonwealth," says Jim. "We now find ourselves in a unique position; one that affords us the opportunity to use a portion of earnings to help support a wide variety of charitable organizations throughout Virginia. It's a gratifying endeavor.”
